5 Clubs Competition

Nine MCC members spent the evening, guests of Madienhead CC, all hoping that our entries would repeat the high scores they achieved in some of the Rose Bowl rounds. Despite encouraging comments from the judge the marks were a little disappointing. However Paul Vine scored 20 with his “Usual Suspects” and almost got the image of the evening, it was second. Well done Paul. After all the marks were added up our worst fears were confirmed. We were in fifth place. Top marks went to Stoke Poges Photographic Club with 182, then Wycombe, Maidenhead, Woodley and Marlow with 165. We should take comfort in the fact, that had we had the judge who took the first round of the Rose Bowl we would have scored 18 more points. We might have won.
