A DIFFERENT VIEW – A Project for revamped Marlow doctor’s surgery

The Doctor’s House is Marlow is being revamped and they are looking to replace some of the larger ‘works of art’ they have on the walls with something more evocative of the area. We have been talking with Dr North about the possibility of one/some of our members providing images for the reception area.

He’s left the brief open but is not looking for the cliche images of the bridge, swans etc. He also pointed out that the practice has surgeries in Hambleden, Lane End and Hurley as well as Marlow. We are therefore looking for strong graphic images of Marlow and the surrounding villages that will give the practice a strong local vibe.

This is isn’t a competition so much as a chance to showcase your work and potentially get it, and our club, seen by everyone in Marlow. Whilst there isn’t a prize as such, the surgery will defray any production costs dependent on what medium and size they want. All they want from us is a raft of possible images to choose from, possibly ones that will work on a larger scale.

So while you’re out and about in Marlow, or Hambleden, Hurley or Lane End sharpen up your photgraphers eye; look for patterns, strong lines and graphic images and get your images ready for mid October.
