Next Monday ,8.10pm at the Regal Henley there is a superb film on the famous photographer Sebastio Selgado. He provides some of the commentary backed by many of his black and white photos. Not to be missed! It starts with the shot of the large hole in the ground in Peru where gold miners are working to extract rock and then climb ladders to the top, looking like so many ants. He documented the famine in Ethiopia, many conflicts and finally his latest project ‘Genesis’. This is a journey round the world photographing beautiful landscapes as an antidote to the terrible war scenes Excellent black and white photos.
